5x5 Scramble and Algorithm Notation
Cube Notation is letters and letter character combinations to describe specific turns on a 5x5 . The purpose of notation is to easily describe an algorithm or a scramble.
Square-1 Scramble and Algorithm Notation
For official WCA scrambles hold the Square-1 with YELLOW on top and RED front.
- (Top, Bottom)
- Number only = Clockwise turn
- MINUS prefix = Anti-clockwise turn
- (1 to 5) = How far to turn (Edge = 1 unit and Corner = 2 units)
